About Chef Katie
Thank you for the opportunity to present my services to you! I am Katie Giering, a resident of Brevard County since 1978. (A transplant from Cleveland, Ohio)
Why am I a personal chef? I have always loved food. One of my earliest memories is of my mothers Sunday dinners. My mom made the best fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy...Yummy! My first real culinary test was in 9th grade home-economics and I was on my way!
While working in the Mortgage/Lending/Real Estate business for the past 28 years has been very rewarding, I’ve decided to pursue my passion of food and make that my career. I attended and graduated from the New Mexico Culinary Business Academy in August of 2006 and am a member of the United States Personal Chef Association (USPCA).
I love making people happy with food. Time and good health may be our most valuable assets today. Busy people spend precious time menu planning, grocery shopping, and cooking for the family. Katie’s Kustom Kuisine can help remove much of this burden from your busy schedule.
Using a professional Personal Chef Service is a practical way to ease the burden of everyday cooking. I plan your menus, do the grocery shopping, prepare a weeks’ worth of meals (in your home but with my cooking utensils) and clean up after I’m done. My dinners are refrigerated or frozen until you’re ready to eat them. I provide easy-to-use heating instructions and suggestions for side dishes. The only thing you have to do is set the timer.
